JP-MH Series
At Teran Guitars, MH always stands for "Mahohany".  It's a classic and standard  tone-wood in many electric guitar models we are all familiar with.  If you come from that experience and background, this is the JP for you.

Magohany JP bodies are hand-carved (of course) and combined with a Mahogany neck and a gorgeous 22 fret Ebony fingerboard.   This guitar is packed with high-end hardware and electronics including a set of hand-wound (see specifications) P90 or Humbucking Pickups designed exclusively for Teran Guitars. 
 
We finish our JP-MH bodies White or Black Pigment and Dye (not Nitro or Poly) natural streaking makes every guitar unique.  The instrument looks worn and used right off the top without doing any 'relicing' what-so-ever.  We do not use any grain-filler on the JP-MH guitars to allow this incredible tonewood to resonate, breathe, and age naturally.  If you are looking for a super shiny 'high gloss' look, this is not the choice for you.  Our Pigment & Dye finishes do not hide imperfections or pin-holes in your tonewood, but they feel silky (never sticky) to the touch and allow maximum vibration and connection to your instrument.  This guitar body will also age much more quickly than any lacquer-finished guitar as sweat and natural oils are not completely repelled. 
 
JP-MH Series guitars are 'round' and 'clear' before you even plug them in.  Add your favourite amp and you are going to have a hard time walking away from your rig.

    Think Classic 60's & 70's Rock Tones without the mud and a more finely tuned singing voice thanks to the Alnico 5 magnet choice.  It's everything you dream of but much, much more.  It's not uncommon for FOH Engineers to comment on the sound of these after live shows.  We have had a number of them contact us (from club and arena size venues) just to let us know how good they sound.  How reassuring is that!

    If you have read about any of our other P90 equipped models on this website, you already know how high we are on these pickups.  We've said it before and we'll say it again... These are the best damn P90's we've ever heard, and (luckily) everyone seems to agree and verify this for us on an ongoing basis.  If you love P90's, you are going to fall in love with your new Tone.
